We are thrilled to share that Levi Strauss & Co. has been included, for the second year in a row, in Fortune’s annual list of the World’s Most Admired Companies – ranking third among the top five apparel companies globally. We’ve done a lot in the past year — from navigating the COVID-19 pandemic and fighting for racial justice to advocating to get out the vote and paving a path forward on climate action — and we’ve showcased time and again just how resilient our business and our employees are.
The list was compiled by Fortune and Korn Ferry based on a survey of corporate reputation. First, candidates for the list (based on revenue) were scaled down from 1,500 to 670 in 30 countries. The top-rated companies were picked from that pool of 670. To determine the best-regarded companies in 52 industries, Korn Ferry asked executives, directors and analysts who work at the companies to rate enterprises in their own industry on nine criteria sections.
LS&Co. saw top five scores for all criteria sections within the apparel industry list. Those include:
- People Management
- Use of Corporate Assets
- Social Responsibility
- Quality of Management
- Financial Soundness
- Long-Term Investment Value
- Quality of Products/Services
- Global Competitiveness
It’s an incredible honor to be considered one of the world’s most admired companies, and it inspires us to continue working hard to remain among the best in the industry and set LS&Co. up for the next 167 years of success.
